An incredible evening awaits you.

EVENT POSTPONED
We will contact you about
reimbursement, and the new date for the event.

Join us for an evening with board member Matthew Kenaston celebrating the author of Running with Sherman, Christopher McDougall. Together, we will explore McDougall's writing process, his path to becoming a master story teller, and where this path is taking him next.

This gala benefit recognizes acclaimed writers and celebrates the importance of libraries as inclusive, democratic institutions that empower all people. Notable writers such as Joyce Carol Oats, Daniel Handler, T.J. Styles, Rebecca Solnit, R.O.Kwan, and Michael Chabon have taken part in past editions when we gathered in salons throughout our beautiful Main Library to dine and indulge in literary works. This year, it's virtual.
