The James C. Hormel LGBTQIA Center
Fellowship
AT FRIENDS OF THE
SAN FRANCISCO PUBLIC LIBRARY
SAN FRANCISCO PUBLIC LIBRARY
Friends of the San Francisco Public Library has not yet made a decision to open an application process for the Hormel Fellowship. The Hormel Center Fellowship is an opportunity to dramatically expand awareness of and use of this free community collection of LGBTQIA history and culture.
The James C. Hormel LGBTQIA Center, the first of its kind in the country, is the gateway to the San Francisco Public Library’s broader collections documenting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual and allies’ history and culture, with a special emphasis on the San Francisco Bay Area. We are looking for a bright and dedicated person to create a cutting-edge marketing plan to reach a young audience that is at risk of missing the great history stored and celebrated at the Center. In this spirit, the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library, Hormel Center Committee, and the San Francisco Public Library have partnered to establish the Hormel Center Fellowship. |
