Library Laureates: Virtual Salon Edition featuring Peter Sagal, the celebrated humorist, writer and hilarious host of the popular NPR game show “Wait Wait...Don’t Tell Me!” and author of “The Incomplete Book of Running” in conversation with New York Times bestselling author and journalist, Christopher McDougall, author of Running with Sherman: The Donkey with the Heart of a Hero (2019), Natural Born Heroes (2015), and Born to Run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen (2009). Tuesday, June 8th at 5 pm Pacific Time This is a fundraiser for our beloved San Francisco Public Library! Your ticket price is a donation that powers free and equitable access to resources and opportunities throughout San Francisco. Tickets start at $20 but Friends and the Library are committed to free access to this event - everyone is welcome, even those who cannot donate at this time. |
