After we honor this year’s brilliant authors, creators, and cultural champions, keep the energy going with a night of music, mingling, and literary joy, right inside the iconic San Francisco Main Library.

By attending the Library Laureates Gala and The Pacifics After Party, you help raise critical funds for the future of the San Francisco Public Library system. Proceeds support innovative programming, creative community partnerships, and a thriving literary culture across the city, all through the work of Friends of the San Francisco Public Library. The Pacifics are a vibrant group of young and engaged San Franciscans who are passionate about the SF Public Library and their community. They host events to welcome new patrons, celebrate literature, volunteer at local branches, and amplify the Library’s essential services across the city. The event is open to all. Dress code: Cocktail and formal attire. Bring your bookish best.
