Steps Sale
All Books $1 or less!
From April – October, we host weekly Steps Sales, located at the Larkin Street entrance of the Main Library. All proceeds from Steps Sales go to benefit the San Francisco Public Library.
Steps Sales are canceled in the event of rain.

Volunteer at Friends Steps Sales!
Volunteers meet at the Larkin Street steps of the Main Library between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to help unload, set up tables, set out books, and monitor tables. Help is also needed to pack up and break down tables at the end of the sale. For more information on volunteering, click
