Parkside

The Parkside Branch Library is another of the grand Appleton & Wolfard libraries, built in 1951.  The proposed modernization improvement plan is to renovate the interior of the building and seismically upgrade the structure while preserving the wonderful feeling of being surrounded by nature that currently exists.  The architects on this project, Thomas Hacker Architects out of Seattle and Karin Payson locally, are both LEED certified and were the team that did such a beautiful job on the West Portal Library.

Donate

Your donation to the Parkside Library Campaign will help to furnish and equip the renovated branch.  There are a variety of affordable ways to contribute.  All pledges made to the campaign can be paid over a period of time, up to three years. Monthly donations of any size are greatly appreciated and can be billed automatically to your credit card.  All donations are tax deductible and will be recognized at the newly renovated Parkside Branch Library.

Checks should be made out to Friends of the SFPL

To make a donation online now, click the "Become a DONOR" link in the bottom right-hand corner of this page.  Be sure to designate your gift to the Neighborhood Library Campaign and choose "Parkside".
