Neighborhood Library Campaign
Ortega
The Ortega Branch Library will be one of five new buildings built during the current renovation project. The community and the library agreed that due to increased service needs from adjacent schools, the branch should be more visible. Therefore it was determined that it would be beneficial to build a new branch than renovate the existing one.
During construction of the new library, the Ortega Temporary Services Site (Mini-Ortega) is open at the same location with regular branch days and hours.
Donate
Your donation to the Ortega Library Campaign will help to furnish and equip the new branch. There are a variety of affordable ways to contribute. All pledges made to the campaign can be paid over a period of time, up to three years. Monthly donations of any size are greatly appreciated and can be billed automatically to your credit card.
All donations are tax deductible and will be acknowledged in a beautiful hand-lettered volume in the permanent collection of the new Ortega Branch Library. All gifts of $1,000 and above will be acknowledged on a prominently displayed plaque in the new Ortega Branch Library.
Checks should be made out to
Friends of the SFPL.
