Eureka Valley/Harvey Milk Memorial
The Eureka Valley Branch is the second branch built in the SFPL system. It was renovated after the Daly City Earthquake of 1957 and reopened in December 1961. The Eureka Valley/Harvey Milk Memorial Branch re-opened after renovations were completed to bring the branch into the 21st century. The renovated branch features a working gas fireplace and lounge reading area, a children's area with flexible fixtures to accommodate a variety of programming and activities, a designated tteen area, a beautiful patio area, 16 public computers, Wi-Fi access throughout and environmentally sound features. Please visit the branch to see it for yourself!
Donate
We are still accepting donations for the Eureka Valley Library Campaign. Your donation will help to pay for the furnishings and equipment in the renovated branch. All donations are
tax deductible and can be made in installments spread out over a period
of time. All donations are acknowledged in a hand-calligraphied donor book at the branch and gifts over $1000 are recognized on a donor plaque near the fireplace in the branch.
Checks should be made
