Member-exclusive, after-hours cocktail party. Get crafty in the book stacks with librarian lead workshops and take home a treasure, hand-made by you!
Enjoy specialty cocktails with locally-crafted SAGE Liqueur, made by—you guessed it!—librarian bartenders, a special craft beer tasting session lead by the 21st Amendment Brewery and light snacks, compliments of Rainbow Grocery.
Mingle with fellow literary enthusiasts and join award-winning filmmakers Dawn Logsdon and Lucie Faulknor as they screen a trailer of their work-in-progress film, Free for All: Inside the Public Library, which tells the story of American Public Libraries, chronicling a year inside the San Francisco Public Library. Have a library story to tell? Logsdon and Faulknor will be on hand with a "Library Storytelling Booth" where attendees can tell their personal library stories - confessional, funny, or life changing. Excerpts from this video taping and from another session later at the Main library may be screened at a larger event on April 20, 2013 at the Main's Koret Auditorium. Get ready for your close up!
