Local Winemakers Pour Support for San Francisco Libraries at the WORDUP! Wine Tasting Event 

Proceeds benefit the Richmond District Library Campaign

WORDUP! (Winemakers of the Richmond District and Upper Panhandle) host a wine tasting event to benefit Friends of the San Francisco Public Library’s Richmond District Library Campaign.  Over fifteen wineries and talented vintners will pour their wines made from some of California’s most interesting vineyards, both north and south of the Richmond District.  Meet local winemakers, enjoy hand-crafted wines and purchase bottled wines at special prices to support the Campaign.   Ticket price includes delicious hors d’oeuvres.

George and Camilla Smith live in one of the city’s most historic and gracious homes. They have offered to open it to you and your friends for a unique and very special evening of pairing exceptional locally produced wine and delicious appetizers.  Camilla is a freelance writer, editor, and nature educator and a board member of Friends of the San Francisco Public Library and George has just published a book as well. Will Bucklin and his 3 siblings make wine from grapes off their family ranch, which happens to be one of Sonoma Valley's oldest and most prestigious Zinfandel vineyards, Old Hill Ranch. Harvey Steiman, is the editor at large for Wine Spectator. Harvey Steiman joined Wine Spectator in 1983, after serving as food and wine editor of the San Francisco Examiner.
